MBI provided comprehensive design services for the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s first off-campus emergency department in Jamestown, Tennessee. Covering architectural, electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural engineering. MBI played a key role in delivering this advanced healthcare facility to serve Jamestown and surrounding communities. The project included a 6,600 SF renovation and a 2,980 SF expansion, creating a freestanding emergency department, imaging center, and a single practitioner’s office.  

The facility features six exam rooms, a trauma room, triage area, decontamination shower, physician’s office, laboratory, imaging suite with CT scan, nursing workstation, reception, waiting areas, medical storage, pharmacy, staff break room, and sleep room.
