Inspired by the nature and music of the Smokies, the Smoky Night Lights at Zoo Knoxville takes observers on a music and light journey through our backyard. MBI worked with Zoo Knoxville to create a unique experience built into the natural ravine in the middle of the zoo. The 1,700-foot Timberloop encircles the ravine and the 360-degree platform allows visitors to have an awe-inspiring view of the show from multiple vantage points and perspectives. The site was custom designed with technology integrated into the landscape and invasive plants were removed and replaced with native species. Energy-efficient lighting is used throughout the project.
