Position: Lead Architectural/Project Manager
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Experience: 10+ Years Experience

MBI Companies Inc., is looking for a new addition to our growing Chattanooga office who will be involved in a variety of challenging project types. This person must be willing to take ownership of projects with ability to manage multiple projects and consultant teams as well as client manage. The successful candidate will be given opportunities to grow within the firm.

Position Overview

The successful candidate must be capable of managing projects from start to finish, be proficient in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk software, and will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining CAD drawings, REVIT drawings and models during the construction document process as well as manage and direct other team members.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • The successful candidate must be capable of managing projects from start to finish, be proficient in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk software, and will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining CAD drawings, REVIT drawings and models during the construction document process as well as manage and direct other team members.
  • Preparation of architectural plans, presentation materials and other drafting tasks
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and schedules
  • Detailed oriented.  Not afraid to ask questions.

Requirements

  • Architect License
  • 10+ years experience with project management, drawing, and document production.
  • Five years of related work experience.
  • Any appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Design capability. Knowledge of building codes.

Other Skills / Abilities

  • REVIT / Autocad drafting principles, practices, methods and techniques.
  • Read and Interpret Construction Drawings.
  • Prepare Detailed Drawings.
  • Establish and Maintain Working Relationships with Co-Workers.
  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (in design photo shop).
  • Self-Starter.
