Intern Architect

Position: Intern Architect
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

MBI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intern Architect to join our Architectural Design team in Chattanooga.  In this role, you will leverage your talent and experience to bring unique solutions to projects for our diverse client base.

The successful candidate must be proficient in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk software, and will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining CAD drawings. REVIT drawings and models during the construction document process.

• Preparation of architectural plans, presentation materials and other drafting tasks under direction and supervision of the Project Architect.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and schedules.
• Detail oriented. Not afraid to ask questions.

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or any appropriate combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience with drawing and document production.
• 2 years of related work experience.
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Enscape and Lumion a plus.
• Working knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication both written and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
