Position: Mid-Level Construction Project Manager & Owner’s Representative
Location: Knoxville, Tennessee

MBI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Construction Project Manager and Owner’s Representative to join our Construction Services team.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various construction projects from inception to completion.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client, design team, and contractors to ensure all project objectives are met.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, issues, and solutions.
• Review and approve construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budget, and cost estimates.
• Monitor and report project progress, risks, and opportunities to the client and project team.
• Ensure construction activities are performed in compliance with project requirements, contract documents, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Facilitate the resolution of project issues, conflicts, and disputes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of five (10) years of experience in project management, preferably with experience in the architectural and engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Experience with LEED and sustainable design practices is a plus.
