East Brainerd Elementary Construction Update
As many in the East Brainerd community continue to move forward in the wake of the March 13th tornado, the structural stabilization phase of the East Brainerd Elementary School is nearing completion.
Our team continues to keep on task and target for a mid-school year completion. The contractor has now begun the reconstruction phase to rebuild the exterior walls (as can be seen in the photos). With the bearing wall completion, new trusses are expected to be on-site in the next few weeks to begin the dry-in phase.
Although there is still much work to be complete, MBI continues to do what we can to keep the project moving and to help get the community back on its feet.
