Originally built in 1937, the Tyner High and Middle Academies have undergone numerous additions and renovations and is in dire need of replacement.  Working with Hamilton County and the Hamilton County Department of Education, MBI developed a plan for design and phased construction of a new facility to combine grades 6-12 on the existing site, while maintaining operations until the new facility can open.  The new Tyner Middle High Academy will be the first school in Hamilton County designed for Future Ready Institute learning. The new two-story facility will be equipped to accommodate up to 1,400 middle and high school students with two gymnasiums, a turfed football/soccer/track stadium, practice fields, upgraded softball & baseball fields, along with State required core curriculum. MBI is conscious about current school security and social issues, and worked alongside community leaders, the Sheriff’s Department, and school administrators to address these concerns diligently. The new Tyner Middle High Academy is scheduled to open in Fall of 2024 and fully completed in 2025.
