In 2019, Dr. LeeAnn Blackford partnered with MBI to renovate and expand Blackford Veterinary Surgery Center. This was in preparation for future growth and the addition of a new surgeon to the practice. The project included a renovation of the existing two-story, 5,240-square-foot clinic and a new 7,230-square-foot expansion.
The completed facility delivers a state-of-the-art veterinary surgery center designed to support advanced specialty care. The expansion includes three fully equipped operating suites. Additionally, it has a dedicated physical therapy wing, an internal medicine wing, and two additional wings planned for future growth. One operating suite features a GE NuBoom surgical boom system. This enables minimally invasive procedures with enhanced precision and efficiency.
The renovation and expansion allow the practice to offer expanded services. It also meets the growing demand for specialty veterinary care in the greater Knoxville area.
