The master plan and design of the Lenoir City Central Park Expansion enhances recreational amenities for families and visitors of all ages. The project adds new outdoor facilities that expand the park’s usability while seamlessly connecting to existing amenities.

The expansion includes a 1,200-square-foot open-air pavilion, a 500-square-foot restroom building, and an interactive splash pad designed with play zones for both toddlers and older children. Perimeter fencing enhances safety, while new shade structures, benches, and landscaped areas provide comfortable spaces for rest and observation.

Site improvements include a new parking lot and concrete sidewalks that connect the expansion to the existing Central Park playground, improving accessibility and circulation. MBI’s architecture and engineering team collaborated closely with the City of Lenoir City and worked in coordination with Great Southern Recreation to design and integrate the utility infrastructure required for the splash pad.

The completed project creates a vibrant, family-friendly destination that supports outdoor recreation, community gathering, and long-term park development.
