MBI was selected to master plan and design the Lenoir City Central Park Expansion project. The project includes a new 1,200 square foot open air pavilion, 500 square foot restroom building, and interactive splash pad featuring play areas for toddlers and older children. The splash pad features perimeter fencing for safety and the design includes new sunshade structures,
benches, and landscaping to provide shaded areas for visitors to enjoy. New parking lot and concrete sidewalks connect the new expansion to the existing playground at Central Park. MBI’s architecture and engineering team worked closely with the City of Lenoir City on the overall design. MBI also worked hand in hand with Great Southern Recreation to coordinate the utility infrastructure needed for the splash pad.
