MBI Companies provided architectural and engineering design services for Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show. This project is a 60,000-square-foot entertainment destination in Panama City Beach, Florida. The 1,000-seat venue combines immersive theatrical production, dining, and highly specialized building systems within a dramatic pirate-themed environment.

The centerpiece of the facility is a 600,000-gallon indoor lagoon reaching depths of approximately 15 feet. The performance arena accommodates full-sized pirate ships, aerial performers, divers, live animals, pyrotechnics, theatrical lighting, and other complex production elements. Surrounding dining areas provide guests with clear views of the action. These areas also support the efficient preparation and service of a four-course meal during each performance.

MBI’s multidisciplinary team coordinated the complex structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, aquatic, theatrical, and life-safety systems. These were required to create an immersive, family-focused entertainment destination.
