MBI completed an interior build-out of approximately 5,000 square feet of previously unused second-floor space within the United Way office in downtown Cleveland. The building, originally constructed in the early 1900s as the historic Princess Theater and later converted to office use in the 1980s, provided a unique opportunity for adaptive reuse.
The project transformed a windowless, unfinished floor into a bright, active, and collaborative office environment designed to support 15–20 nonprofit organizations. Through thoughtful planning, lighting, and material selection, MBI created a vibrant business incubator that fosters collaboration and innovation—advancing United Way’s mission to address complex social challenges in the Ocoee Region.
