Located in Orlando, Florida, MBI partnered with Universal Creative to help deliver another immersive component of the Harry Potter experience at Universal Orlando Resort. The project required a highly coordinated approach due to its complexity, fast-track schedule, and integration with themed environments.
Universal Creative selected BIM and Revit as the primary tools for developing construction documents. MBI served as the BIM Architect, collaborating with the Architect of Record to advance design concepts into fully coordinated construction documents. These documents supported an accelerated delivery process led by the Construction Manager.
In addition, MBI acted as the Mechanical Engineer of Record and provided BIM/Revit production support for the Electrical Engineer of Record. This integrated approach ensured precise coordination of architectural and building systems within a demanding themed-entertainment setting.
